Heads up…
Ocean Grove is a “dry” town, meaning they don’t sell alcohol. It’s all cool – we’ll still drink, we just need to get our alcohol from one of the other fine towns of the Jersey Shore. So come prepared (or be willing to take a trip to one of the neighboring towns).
Asbury Park Boardwalk
The AP Boardwalk (Warning: website has annoying sounds) is about a 15 minute walk from Ocean Grove. Bruce Springsteen sings about it or something so I’m sure it’s special.
Ocean Grove Beach
The beach is generally a pay-to-enter beach during high season, but we may be in the clear. As of this writing (Apr 30) their website is not updated for 2016.
